After changed to Fiberhome wifi 6 router (provided by TM), my unifi tv freeze after few minutes. Need to change channel to resume watching, but then happen again after few minutes.
There are tv icon with red notification at bottom right. Seems like no connection, but internet connection all good.
Called customer support, they reset the port and connection but the issue still there.
I have no issue with previous router (TM black router)
I use white stb box.
What i have tried
- restart all devices
- clear cache and data in stb box
- change network cables
- change hdmi cable
Appreciate if anyone can help me to solve this issue.
I not prefer to change to unifi plus box since my wife love to change channel by press channel number on remote and use mosaic view.
If you change router to router wifi 6, you need to key in PPPOE password to setting the new router. if you forgot this password you need call unifi, they can give the new PPPOE password.
wifi can't connect if you false change setting to the new router.
The setting is done by TM staff and currently have no issue with wifi connection.
The only issue is unifi tv freeze after few minutes watching.
Then need to change channel to resume back watching.
Happen to all live tv channel.

It could be. If you still have the old router, try to connect to the old router and see whether it has the same issue. If no issue when connecting to the old router, either setting or the router itself has an issue.
Usually that wifi 6 router have a problem with unifi TV anyway could you try to change and use again the existing black TM Router and check does your unifi TV still have a problem.TQ
The TM technician took back the old black router, so i cannot test it.
Anyway, thanks for all your replies.

I suggest for you to call 100 and do a Technical Report and ask for the team to come and check your white stb also with that wifi 6 router usually from the TM site may have some issue
