the web tv should be there, but some geniuses inside tm do not want it to be published. so they create a reason; security, enchancement, licenses etc etc. they want you to subscribe their "plus box". don't you get it?
that time when you accidentally can watch the tv via web browser, maybe because one of their technician accidentally pressing the "enable" button. after his/her head being whacked by his/her manager or their marketing chief, he/she turn off back the function.
monopoly will be monopoly forever. capitalist will be capitalist, my friend. 
what makes me so geram with this TM, its already 2 years since they closed down the web tv and still no news about it whether they want to continue the service or simply abandon it. back in the day, i enjoy watching unifi tv which is called play tv via web browsers (internet explorer). after that they screwed it up via "upgrade". 
actually we need a good "opressor" which is ministers level for them to wake up from sleep.
a while ago if you notice, we get this quite nice package which is speed upgrade because of the work by the then ministers of communications & multimedia. well, thats the good old days. 
its more than 2 years. i believe its dead.
