@Arsyad1105the funny thing is, when i login using direct connection,; i.e: unifi ip addresses, i got error on login
while when i login using vpn for example, i can get through, but cannot click the play button.
funny.
can someone who using a ms windows but other than 11 share their experiences?
thank you in advance.
Hello i am use the Win 10 no problem overall boo maybe your hardware is too noob i guess
i think you need update ur windows and software. unifi tv via browser very succesfull no lag or something problem. very smooth with google chrome and edge browser.
@Kasmaini: i think you should stop replying since your attitude always like to use useless words like "lol" "noob". please, stop. you are sooooo annoying.
how about i called you a LAME KID? do you like it?
@al-walid99: i just found the solution. it was the firewall who caused the problem. fyi, i am using some restrictive outbound connection, since unifi playtv are using multiple ports rather than standard ports http+s
adding the other outbound ports that playtv use to connect finally solved the problem.
why don't they use the standard http/https port? *SIGH*
For security. if use http or https any people can create playlist DRM for cracked unifi tv and can watching all unifi tv premium channel for free.
TM closed the old website bcoz others people already crack playlist unifi tv and share at telegram group. they shared how to crack and watching free all premium channel unifi tv. you don't know bout that.
That's why TM and unifi make a new website and new ui unifi tv via browser.
we pay RM60 for ultimate pack but they watch free all unifi tv premium without paid.
until now, i still sniff the ip addresses and ports that they being use to and see that they are using 3 different host ip addresses and 4 different tcp ports.
but i don't think network layer firewall suitable for this. i need to apply application layer for this.
regarding the quality, for example when i view AXN, and using "auto", most of the time it will stream with low resolution and low size. if i set it to a fixed resolution, like 720p for example, several minutes later it will stop with an error.
anyway, regarding the security, right, people who know how to sniff the http/s packet with its url and ports can still see the path.
there still a "kodi" source at github that still publish the code and trust me, it still works.
TM and "security" still an issue since 1995. don't bother. even though that they "enhance" this playtv web, i don't see that people still cannot crack the extensions as long as they using a "cheap" encryption to protect it.
the same thing happen to their mainpage where you can login and view your bill. you still can manipulate their API, just change some key, and put other people's acc number in it, and tadaaaa, that people's bill will appear.
TM.... never... change... since... 1995...
Stop complaining silly people if you not satisfied with unifi service, just terminate and go to other ISP is simple lollll bruhhhh
