Internet speed unstable

Speed drop suddenlyNormal speed

After the staff upgraded my router (model SR1041Y) even though i get better maximum speed the problem of speed dropping drastically occurs very often, it will be more obvious if the hypp tv is turned on

thus when streaming video or playing online games it makes me lag or spike, is there any solution other than changing back the old router?

May we know did you use the White/Silver or unifi Plus Box for the unifi TV Service?

Speed test result for today

Today i can't even surpass 30Mbps with a 300Mbps connection it's getting worst

After discussing with the customer service they helped me by resetting the port on thier end, and after i reset my modem and router the issue has been solved

Hope this will be the last issue that i will encounter for the short while

I'm sick of this problem and not even going to try anymore, changed back to the old d-link router and my speed is back again, TM has friendly staff but the quality of service is dissapointing

Hi @TerryLeeZY . Have you tried test/monitor speed by using LAN cable. Usually speed is more accurate by using LAN cable. You can try to test the speed at http://speedtest.tm.com.my, using 1
PC/laptop (connected with LAN cable Cat5e version or higher) without any others internet connectivity to check the accurate speed received. Alternatively, may try to change wifi password/channel. Can direct refer TM support for assistance > https://home.unifi.com.my/support/contact-us
