Relocate but the area has contract with other Internet services?

I'm currently subscribing to Unifi and still within contract period. However, I just relocated to a new apartment that has been binded with only one Internet service which means Unifi could not be used in the new apartment. Can I terminate my Unifi services and will I have to pay for any fees?

Re: Relocate but the area has contract with other Internet services?

Hi Jae,

I think TM won't charged you since you relocate to a unifi non-serviceable area.

You may refer here: https://community.unifi.com.my/t5/Relocation/I-m-subscribing-to-unifi-and-I-wish-to-relocate-to-an-a...

They mentioned that "You will not be charged if you relocate at an address that is not available with unifi Home or Broadband."

nice point, @wiseguy.

But as i see it, @Jae's new home are serviceable (because he mentioned that another provider is already there).

You can always check your coverage first https://unifi.com.my/unifi-en/ijoin/check-coverage.page

Hope that helps.

Thanks @remstr and @wiseguy for the replies,

My apartment is within Unifi coverage but unfortunately I can't continue with Unifi services as another provider has been selected as the main provider for our building. Therefore, will I still be charged or can proceed with discontinuing Unifi services?

im afraid you will be penalize.

But, why dont you change the ownership, give it to your other family members. Let them use this unifi account.
