No 4G

Recently switched to unifi mobile 59, the first day I put sim card to my phone, no 4G signal until now, reset APN and do troubleshooting many times still not solved yet, then unifi said it was my phone problem.... =_=lll

 

I used maxis and digi before with same phone(honor 9 lite) no 4G problem at all, I sure this not my phone problem, I so regret now... 1 year contract...

Have you checked the coverage on your area before? If not yet, you can refer here.

My area is 4G covered, I went to unifi center, the staff have checked, sim card no problem, my phone also in  unifi certified list, the staff pun sakit kepala why  no 4G signal,  now the solution is try on other phone with band 5, 38 or 40... I not try yet, will update later.

From what i can check on GSM Arena website (https://www.gsmarena.com/honor_9_lite-8962.php)

your Honor 9 Lite band for Global -->1, 3, 7, 8, 20 

 

Band 5 is needed for unifi Mobile.

Yes, I was told by unifi staff, unifi 4G ONLY work on band 5, 38, 40 phone, but honor 9 lite listed in unifi certified 4G phone (https://unifi.com.my/mobile/postpaid/phone-compatibility), the staff also scratch head, now the solution is try on other phone with band 5,38,40, I will update later...

Yeah no kidding, its listed as certified.

 

I will alert tech team about this, im sure its a bug or glith in the system.

I tried on other phone (nova 7i), finally got 4G!

 

Hope unifi will update the list soon...
