Modem and router !

My current plan is  Unifi 300mbps ( Turbo upgrade ) but still using Alcatel-Lucent Router I-240G-P modem and router L7-N-R2000 more than 6 years.  

My questions is this modem still able to support this speed or need to change new router ?

Or i need to change my own router to get high speed ?

I planning to change Asus RT-AX53U.

The modem should be supported for 300mbps.  Should be no issue if you want to change router.

Quite shocks heard this modem is legendary. most of my friend using the latest models.  

Already use many years TM never give any free upgrade.

For that fibre modem,actually it still can be supported up to 800 Mbps Plan and for the Router,you may buy that model like what you want
