As some of you might already know, unifi Mobile will be undergoing an upgrading phase, starting with the cessation of unifi Mobile self-care portal and mobilecare@unifi app on 19 August 2021 and the new single sign-on for unifi Community.
So what’s next?
There will be a system upgrading for unifi Mobile postpaid and unifi Mobile Prepaid (including BIZ account) and this exercise will commence at:
12.01 a.m on 21 September 2021 until 11.30 a.m on 22 September 2021 (Registration & Modify Order)
2.00 p.m. on 21 September 2021 until 11:30 a.m. on 22 September 2021 (Bill payment & Passes purchase)
Yes, there will be another major downtime, but this is to serve you better in future.
During the migration downtime, please note that you will not be able to perform the following activities:
However, don't worry because your existing data or plan will not be interrupted. You can still use the call, sms, and data services as usual.

3 things that I will never understand about webe are:
In 2016, webe 3g was super buttery smooth like 8mbps no problem at all. Now in 2017 you can't even browse facebook without need to wait for hours.
So I asked this matter from the people in their live chat and they answered no. They answered webe don't cap 3G speed. I was like, okay then.
Then I decided to make a simple speedtest between celcom 3G and webe 3G speed with the following conditions:

CELCOM 3G : 8.15 Mb/s DL , 5.18 Mb/s UL
WEBE 3G : 1.07 Mb/s DL , 1.39 Mb/s UL ????
Then webe explain this. As most of your customers are using 3G network since 4G coverage is limited, do you even need to do this? This is one of the reasons why most of your customers ported out to other telcos.
I understand that webe is still at their early stage and they are expanding their 4G coverage at their best. But, limiting the speed of 3G network is a very very very very big mistake. I will see first how webe will respond with this matter. The best I can do, I will address this issue to SKMM for further action.

How to make unifi mobile postpaid payment with JomPAY

Hi everyone, im quite sure im im not the first one to start this topic but it is really frustraiting. You can see the email replies i got on top. To cut the story short let me summarize
1. I moved to a new place (USJ 2/5H) landed property
2. Want to apply unifi then was told port full by agents.
3. Then i call tm they say port full then put me on "waiting list" and they find alternative port.
4. Ask whats the timeline or whats the procedure, staff say dont know.
So i emailed the

Takkan we just blindly sit and wait right? Not that i want you to find ports for me right this second. But keep us informed on what are the alternative.
And how do you allocate yr so call ports? USJ 2 from my observation is a very mature township and houses here are now new easily more than 5 to 10 years. And i dont think 1 household will have 2 unifi ports. So how do you allocate yr ports?
1 last thing. When you ask yr customers to be on the "waiting list" means what? We wait till one fine day your director say ahhh let there be fibre is it? If you dont like the customers to keep complaining the same thing then keeep the updates comingggg. Like what are the plans?This complaint case escalated to where? What is the reason of the hold up of the alternative port? Rejected request or still pending? Is it because not enough user request? If thats the case then just inform your customer "We need X amount of people seeking for interest" then only we can justify. Okay fine at least its an honest reply that from customers end we can work on. Dont just keep us like dumbo waiting everyday praying to God that oneeeee day your director decide to put unifi at our place kan? This is the thing that makes customers mad. Its nt that all customers want you to find a solution for them RIGHT THIS SECOND. But dont keep us in the dark, let us know what is the reason. Give us feedback so we can work together. You guys are the "no 1 " fibre provider and Maxis also have to use yr line. So no point for me going and asking them to apply additional ports if you all dont have ports yourself. Please TM dah 2020 ni, subang usj xckp port lol joking ke bro

Apple iPhone: activating iMessage & FaceTime
As unifi mobile has not listed as Apple’s supported carrier yet, using these features on iPhone require a bit of manual settings.
Settings > Messages > Turn on iMessage
When you see this message, don't panic. This message means to activate iMessage, your iPhone will trigger an SMS to Apple. By doing so, you may be charged for the SMS (most probably as an IDD SMS). However, as a unifi mobile user you will not be charged for this activation fee.
Once iMessage is enabled, scroll down and tap “Send & Receive”
Select your Apple ID to use iMessage.
For FaceTime, the steps are similar.
Settings > FaceTime > Turn on FaceTime.
Select your Apple ID to use FaceTime.
Because you’re using iMessage/FaceTime with your Apple ID, things can be different when using these features.
Remember:
1) You will be sending iMessage using your Apple ID
2) You can only receive iMessage if another person send it to your Apple ID
3) You will be making FaceTime call using your Apple ID
4) You can only receive FaceTime call when another person calls your Apple ID

Apakah yang menyebabkan signal Wi-Fi yang lemah? Berikut adalah antara beberapa kemungkinan:
1. Jumlah peranti yang disambungkan ke Wi-Fi vs Pakej internet yang dilanggan
Perkara ini perlu difahami kerana rata-rata pelanggan internet mungkin tidak menyedari bahawa jumlah peranti yang banyak, jika disambungkan dengan pakej internet yang rendah, akan menyebabkan Wi-Fi yang perlahan. Sebagai contoh, jika anda melanggan pakej internet di bawah 50mbps dan menggunakan lebih daripada lima peranti serentak (telefon bimbit, komputer riba etc), anda mungkin akan mengalami kelajuan Wi-Fi yang perlahan.
2. Kandungan internet atau aplikasi yang digunakan
Kandungan internet yang dilayari atau aplikasi yang digunakan akan memberikan kesan kepada kelajuan wi-fi anda. Contoh-contoh aplikasi atau kandungan yang berat adalah:-

Mungkin ramai yang melanggan pelan internet yang mahal, tetapi mengalami capaian wi-fi yang kurang memuaskan contohnya di bilik tidur, di tingkat atas rumah dan sebagainya. Lokasi Wi-Fi router anda juga memberikan kesan kepada kelajuan wi-fi anda. Sebagai contoh, jika router anda diletakkan di dalam ruangan yang tertutup, signal wi-fi anda mungkin akan terkesan. Ini kerana, signal wi-fi ini mungkin terjejas kerana tidak dapat menembusi dinding, pintu yang tertutup rapat dan sebagainya.
4. Channel frekuensi wi-fi di peralatan wi-fi anda
Adakah anda tahu bahawa router wi-fi anda selalunya mempunyai channel frekuensi 2.4Ghz dan 5Ghz? Frekuensi mana yang digunakan di alat ini mungkin akan memberikan kesan kepada kelajuan wi-fi anda. Untuk pengetahuan, 2.4Ghz akan memberikan liputan wi-fi yang lebih luas tetapi mungkin kelajuan yang lebih perlahan, manakala 5Ghz akan memberikan liputan yang lebih dekat tetapi kelajuan yang lebih tinggi. Anda boleh menukarkan channel frekuensi ini pada bila-bila masa bergantung kepada keperluan anda.
5. Jenis peralatan/perabot di sekeliling peralatan wi-fi anda
Peralatan/perabot yang mempunyai permukaan besi yang berkilat dan peralatan yang mengeluarkan signal elektromagnetik (contohnya ketuhar gelombang mikro) yang berada berhampiran alat wi-fi juga akan memberikan kesan kepada signal wi-fi anda
Perkara-perkara di atas akan memberikan kesan kepada kepada pencapaian wi-fi di rumah anda. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pencapaian wi-fi anda, terutamanya kepada peranti yang berada jauh daripada router wi-fi anda (contohnya di dalam bilik di tingkat atas rumah), adalah dengan menggunakan mesh wi-fi, di mana signal wi-fi anda akan ditingkatkan di ruang-ruang di mana pencapaian wi-fi di rumah anda adalah lemah.

How to login to unifi mobile self-care?
Since the rebranding of webe to unifi mobile, the website has gone thru cosmetic and branding change as well. Many have asked where to check the bills, how to make payment, how to register International Roaming and how to buy hotspot passes.
However, to perform all these transactions, you will need to login to your self-care.
Here's how to do it:-
First, click on this link, https://mobile.unifi.com.my/customer/starthere .
Once you're on this page, look out for a 'login' button on the top right of your screen.
Next, key in your registered email address and password, then click login.
Once login, it should bring you to Dashboard where you can view your details such as unbill amount, credit limit, account number, hotspot quota etc.

1. What is an LTE Mobile WiFi?
It is a Mobile WiFi pass that allows webe members to share their data within our LTE coverage using Band 5 phones.
2. What is the LTE Mobile WiFi promotion about?
• From 12th July 2017 onwards, existing and new webemobile members will receive an LTE Mobile WiFi, valid until further notice.
• This promotion will be valid for all new members who join webe before 1st October 2017, so make sure you sign up for a mobile plan if you haven’t got one – and tell all your friends too!

3. When is the promotion period?

• If you want to purchase, you may select from our existing passes when you’ve exhausted the LTE Mobile WiFi or outside of the webe LTE coverage; Mobile WiFi 500MB at RM 8.48 (inclusive of GST), Mobile WiFi 1GB at RM15.90 (inclusive of GST) or Personal WiFi 2 hour at the rate of RM6.36 (inclusive of GST).
8. Which pass will be drawn down when I activate my tethering / hotspot settings?
You will enjoy the free 10GB quota first when you activate the tethering option within webe LTE coverage.
9. Am I allowed to roll-over any unutilized LTE Mobile WiFi quota to the following month?
• Unfortunately, you can’t rollover the unutilized LTE Mobile WiFi quota.
• But don’t worry, the LTE Mobile WiFi will be renewed for every bill cycles until further notice.
10. What will appear in the bill if I am entitled to LTE Mobile WiFi?
You will see items named ‘LTE Mobile WiFi (Just For You)’ and ‘LTE Mobile WiFi Discount’ which indicate the free quota and you will enjoy the data sharing until further notice.
11. Where can I check my mobile WiFi usage for the month?
Easy! You can check your usage here or download webe Self Care App on Google App Store or iTunes.
12. How many devices can I share my data concurrently?
You can share your data with up to 5 devices for good experience concurrently, provided that you have sufficient quota in your account.
13. What is the validity period for the LTE Mobile WiFi?
The LTE Mobile WiFi is valid for 30 days.

How to use Search Box effectively?
Often we got too used to google search whenever we search for an answer, we would just key in as if we are chatting with the system. Some will take it as a chatbox, thinking this box will link straight to livechat team.

Since the rebranding of webe to unifi mobile, the website has gone thru cosmetic and branding change as well. Many have asked where to check the bills, how to make payment, how to register International Roaming and how to buy hotspot passes.
However, to perform all these transactions, you will need to login to your self-care.
Here's how to do it:-
First, click on this link, https://mobile.unifi.com.my/customer/starthere .
Once you're on this page, look out for a 'login' button on the top right of your screen.
Next, key in your registered email address and password, then click login.
Once login, it should bring you to Dashboard where you can view your details such as unbill amount, credit limit, account number, hotspot quota etc.

Perkhidmatan UNIFI memang sangat teruk, tak dapat selesaikan masalah, tiada capaian internet memang sangat menyusahkan orang ramai, terutamanya pada alaf zaman moden ini. Penalty On Home Gadget Protection RM5000
I upgraded from Unify Lite to Unify 30Mbps. In my unify lite account I subscribe a Home Gadget Protection RM5000 before 2019 (cannot remember exact year). After upgrading, in my unify lite bill, TM charges penalty for amount of RM225. Why TM charging me? When I upgrade no one told me all subscription will automatically cancel, and TM do not have my confirmation and consent to cancel or not. And I never made a claim. I subscribe long before 2019, contract usually within 24 months right? Are they automatically renew every 2 years ? Please assist on this matter.

Is there a site survey service provided by Webe? My area only getting 1~2 bar 4G signal strength (or sometime 1~2 bars 3G signal strength) while using all other 4G providers in town. Signal dropped to 2G if I do not force the phone to use 3G only. I have tested it with Maxis, Digi, Umobile and Celcom in year 2017/2018. Result are the same.

Late September 2019, I had received an offer for a month free trial for the Unifi Air and I had refund it to the TM Point on October before the trial ended. The account for the Unifi Air supposed already had been terminated but the account still active and charged me from October 2019 with total RM208 right now! Live chat not responded (reason heavy traffic), FB private message (also no respond ), Open new case (Ref U-2070606) shown resolved but the account still active and problem haven't solved yet. Go to TM Point (btw staff had confirmed that i had returned the router but till now havent any action taken). Please fix this problem ASAP because i had been charged without reasons even i already stop using the services.
